Treasure of the ages

A classified advertisement in "The Washington Post" leads future cop Darien Lambert (Dale Midkiff) down to the Florida Keys to apprehend Haskell (Edward Laurence Albert), a 22nd century marine archaeologist. haskell was about to go on trial for looting a historical vessel when he vanished, escaping back to the 1990's through time travel. Here, he began a new life with a woman named Mary (Lise Hilboldt), who knows nothing about his past and is about to bear him a child.

Florida prepares for a storm that Darien knows will be the most destructive hurricane of the century. Darien checks into a quaint little hotel, owned by Noah Fuller (Eddie Albert). Meanwhile, Haskell kills his partner, who helped him locate a shipwreck containing a fortune in gold. The police find the corpse, providing Darien with his first clue.

Darien sees a piece of paper that they found with the corpse. There are some cryptic numbers on it that mean nothing to the police. Darien's holographic micro-computer, "Selma" (Elizabeth Alexander), deciphers them as a longitude and latitude nearby. Darien goes diving there, exploring a same shipwreck fond by Haskell. But Haskell attacks Darien, leaving him trapped in the ancient wreck. With Selma's help, Darien escapes and finds out Haskell's address.

But before Darien can catch Haskell, Haskell confronts Darien in the lobby of Darien's hotel. Mary and Noah are there as well. Haskell suspects Darien is after the treasure and threatens him with a gun.

Distraught, Mary intervenes. Haskell pushes her and she goes into labor. Darien is the only one who can deliver the baby. The birth is also complicated by the arrival of the hurricane.

Before Mary delivers, Haskell tries to flee, but Darien sends him back to the future. Then Darien sees that mother and baby are in danger as the baby is breech--not positioned correctly. Selma guides Darien in turning the infant around to be born head first. The daughter is safely born.
